A personal word on trusting God through the wait.
Psalm 62:5.
I think I was meant to come across this verse, it shed a new light on my walk with God. A part of it says: “my hope comes from Him.”
As someone who’s been waiting on God to answer a prayer for months, I’ve been thinking, “God can do it, right?” That’s not a bad mindset, but this verse hit me differently,it was like a eureka moment.
I realized that hope stems from God. Not just in what He can do, but simply because He is God.
There’s a progression to it: From Him → In Him → With Him.
* Hope comes from Him — He is the source.
* Place your hope in Him — He is the anchor.
* Walk in hope with Him — He is the companion.
That last part — hope with Him — feels like trusting in His track record, in His presence, and in the process. It’s not just waiting for God; it’s learning to wait with Him.
To have true faith in God, all three — from, in, and with — must come into play.
